I hope you will appreciate and enjoy this Hermit's video. I have not known about these long, but I appreciate that Father took time to make a series of these on different eremitical topics. He and I are on the same page with the major themes regarding what a hermit is in today's Church and world, I think, so readers of this blog who are not hermits should be well-prepared for what Father shares. In this video, Father speaks about the importance of the hermit vocation in today's Church and world, as well as on the discernment of such a vocation.
By the way, please let me know what you think of the possibility of adding occasional videos like this one, including those I make myself. Several people have suggested that adding videos to this blog, or as a way to have conversations with other hermits, canonists, et al., might be a great idea, especially since I am writing more apart from this blog. (I'm not sure I quite understand that "especially" part myself, but the person who mentioned it was particularly enthusiastic.) I think it is possible to make videos on You Tube and embed them here (as this one was embedded), so please let me hear from you!
